About The Course
Airflite Flying College’s Professional Pilot Pathway is a comprehensive, career-focused program that combines two nationally recognised diplomas into one streamlined syllabus.
Graduates who successfully complete the course will be awarded the following qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF):
AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane)
AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating)
AVISS00046 Night Visual Flight Rules Pilot Skill Set
AVISS00069 Multi-Engine Aeroplane Pilot Skill Set
As students progress through the Professional Pilot Pathway, they develop the skills required to obtain key licences and ratings under CASA Part 61—most notably the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and a Multi-Engine Class Instrument Rating, among others.
A key strength of the program is the depth of multi-engine flying experience included in the course. Graduates leave with significantly more hands-on, practical time in multi-engine aircraft than most comparable programs—giving them a competitive edge when applying for industry roles.
Who Is This Course For?
This program is ideal for individuals seeking a professional pilot career with the ability to operate a variety of aircraft—particularly in charter or corporate aviation.
With experience and flight hours, graduates can go on to operate larger aircraft in the air transport sector.
-
This course follows a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Course of Study which includes levels of competency from the AVI Aviation Training Package developed by Australian Industry Standards (AIS).
