This course follows a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Course of Study which includes levels of competency from the AVI Aviation Training Package developed by Australian Industry Standards (AIS).

This course supports the acquisition of recognised CASR Part 61 licences, ratings and endorsements. Airflite strongly encourages students to pursue all of these, including:

Approximately 55+ weeks.
Full-time, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00, on campus at either Jandakot Airport, Western Australia or Moorabbin Airport, Victoria.
Additional attendance may be required, depending on such variable factors as weather, safety and progression of student competency. Please refer to Airflite’s Student Handbook for more information.

Hold an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (year 12 certificate), or
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) diploma, or
a certificate for a course (taught in English) at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 4 or above, or
complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test and the results must show that you’re competent at Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework in both reading and numeracy.
Formal Screening Interview and Aptitude Assessment:
Aptitude Assessment, Simulator Assessment, Formal Interview to a satisfactory standard.

The Diplomas of Aviation, are VET Student Loan (VSL) approved. VSL is subject to students meeting eligibility requirements. A VSL gives rise to a VET Service Loan debt which continues to be a debt due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid in full. There are other payment options. Tuition is charged as per the AFC Schedule of Fees.
Tuition Fees may change from one intake to another due to variable costs associated with operation in the aviation industry.
